Pairings for QCC Championship Round 2 for October 13th 2017

by on October 9, 2017

These pairings are extremely tentative.  If an even number of additional players show up, the last five boards would remain the same, with only the board numbers changing.  If an odd number of additional players enter, the 0-1 group would drop house player Paul Drazil and have the pairing Frumkin-Mordukhay on the 5th board from the bottom (Board 10 of a 14 board round).  The ½ point group could change due to the relative ratings of the newcomers (for example, either Andrew or Nicholas Ryba could take over the Board 5 matchup with Mulazim Muwwakkil).  Brian Lawson could not face Rupert Williams for a second time, nor could George Dippel meet Matthew Tai again.  The current pairings matched Brian Lawson with Frank Drazil instead of Rupert Williams for that reason.
