16th Queens Team Championship, May 6-27, 2016

A four round Swiss of two player teams, team rating must average under 2000, G/120 (or G/115 d5). Your May rating should be available on the USCF website on April 22. Rounds begin at 8:00 each Friday.

Entry fee $35 per player, $25 for Queens Chess Club members

Prizes based on 10 paid teams: $100-$50 to top two teams, $60 each to top U1700 team, top scorer on Board 1 and top scorer on Board 2 (prizes raised or lowered proportionally). We get 12-15 teams on average (yes, you can win one prize for your team and a second for yourself on your assigned board). One team ½ point bye is permitted, which must be requested at entry. If one team member must be absent, the substitute must be rated lower than the original player and play on that player’s board, regardless of rating.

Playing site: All Saints’ Lutheran Church, 164-02 Goethals Avenue, Jamaica (three blocks west of St. Johns University). Accessible from Q65 bus from Jamaica or Flushing LIRR stations or Q46 bus (Union Turnpike). Plenty of parking on neighboring streets
