White seems to have the whole board under control until 31.Be4. Then the Black counterattack begins . . . 1.d4 Nf6 2.g3 g6 3.Bg2 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.c4 0-0 6.Nc3 c6 7.Nf3 Bg4 8.h3 Bxf3 9.Bxf3 Nbd7 10.0-0 c5 11.d5 Ne5 12.Be2 Qc8 13.Kg2 Ne8 14.f4 Nd7 15.g4 e6 16.dxe6 fxe6 17.g5 Nb6 18.Qd3 Qd7 19.Bg4 Rd8 20.Be3 Nc7 21.Rad1 Na4 22.Nxa4 Qxa4 23.Rf2 b6 24.f5 gxf5 25.exf5 exf5 26.Bxf5 Qc6+ 27.Kg1 d5 28.Bxh7+ Kh8 29.Rxf8+ Rxf8 30.cxd5 Qd6 Qxd5 seems possible as the White bishops are hanging.31.Be4 31.Kg2 would prevent the Black Queen invasion. 31…Qg3+ Now Black is winning. 32.Kh1 Qxh3+ 33.Kg1 Qg3+ [33…Be5 34.Bf4 Bd4+ is better.] 34.Kh1 Be5 35.Rd2 Kg7 36.Bh7 Qh3+ 37.Kg1 Qxh7 [37…c4! 38.Qg6+ Kh8 threatens a variety of mates that would force White to give up his Queen.The text is obviously fine too as Black just emerges a piece up.] 38.Qxh7+ Kxh7 39.d6 Ne6 40.Rd5 Bd4 41.Bxd4 cxd4 42.d7 Rd8 43.Rd6 Nc5 44.Rxd4 Rxd7 45.Rh4+ Kg6 46.b4 Nd3 47.a4 Kxg5 48.Rc4 0-1
