Logjam at the Top at 10th Queens Junior Senior (July 8-29)

by on July 29, 2005

Also held concurrently with the Futurity, this event also drew 14 entrants.  Splitting the field in half by age, the division between “junior” and “senior” was around 47 years of age.  Andrew Bauer, the second oldest player, won his first three games before losing to fellow “oldster” Ken Cruz.  Joining both at 3-1 were Aliakbar Asar and Steve Chernick,

the only “junior” in the tie.  The prizes of $100-$50 for the top two and $39 each for top “senior” and top “junior” ended up as $57 to each of the big four.
